OK I am just guessing this. Like any other MOV instruction, the 'MOV chksum, SBUF' also just copies the contents of SBUF to chksum. And any amount of MOVs till the arrival of the next byte into SBUF should be fine. If you are so concerned, why tempt fate ? Just replace 'MOV var, SBUF' with 'MOV var,chksum' Raghu |
