Hi All,

I am working on a project which involves upto 15 devices and a computer to be connected.The PC works as a master and controls all the devices.

I am using the MAX 488 IC for the same.The units are controlled by a AT89c51 uC.

I will be using the 9600-8-N format for serial communication(the addresses will be diffrentiated by the data strings).
I have uploaded the circuit diagram for the RS485 ,
Can any one guide me if I am wrong...

I cross checked the datasheet of MAX488,It can support upto 32 devices.

Initially we thought of using RF modules(488 MHz) but since the availblity of the same is difficult here in India,we changed the plan to RS485.
