Note that in order to use Flash Magic's ability to generate the reset pulses, the RxD line needs to be inverted before being applied to the Reset pin during programming. I don't see that in your example circuits. If you would like to see a schematic of the circuit that Flash Magic currently supports, please take a look at the Keil MCB900 board schematic.
