#52804 - Brazen cheek

For sheer brazen cheek, How about this email I just received ?

Steve

I am a trainee of IT skills in *****. I want to learn web designing, but according to our institute laws, we have to pass some hardware lessons, too.
And one week ago, our teacher asked us to write some programs for 8051 cpu. Of course, he teached some lessons about 8051, but to be honest, I don't like hardware, and I didn't go to class. In my opinion, there is not need for me in the future to know anything about "how 8051 works". I just want to design web pages.
So could you do me a favor? I think the following problems are too easy for an expert, so I will be apreciated if you solve these problems:
1) write a program to scan a Hex (4*4) keyboard. Do not use professional codes, just a simple code will be enough. Do not use PPI (I don't know what is it!). Just divide the columns and rows between port1 and port2. He said us we must rotate a "zero" over the rows(port1), and then read columns(port2).
2) write a program to get 100 locations of memory, then add all of them together.
