Actually there's no need to understand a microcontroller, when only wanting to make web design. Like there's no need to understand the engine of a car, when only wanting to drive. But why are you educated how an engine works, when it's not really necessary? Because most people are highly interested in! They are eager to learn how 'horse power' is fabricated from some drops of fuel. And they would be disappointed not getting any information about this topic.

Of course, it's the same when learning web design. Most people are highly interested in learning how such a microprocessor really works and I think they really enjoy that 'excursion' to the land of 8051 microcontroller. Am I right?
