I think that too simple. I use paulmon with 80C31 kits. It has serial I/0 MAX 232, 8255, 2764 ROM, 6264 RAM. I put the paulmon at 2764 ROM, and 6264 I use to put the downloaded code from PC (I'm use the PSEN pin, not READ pin at 6264 ). Since I use the only RAM to store the downloaded code, I don't have RAM to store my data ( use the READ pin ). I think if I have another RAM I can put my data into it, and read it with MOVX not with MOVC.
I don't have the artwork of my 8031 kit ( I just Buy it ). and now I plan to 1 6264 to my kit, so I have RAM to put my data.
