#53152 - MOVX@R0/R1 on expanded on-chip RAM |
Hi,
The question about Atmel/Temics chips which have expanded XRAM on-chip. To access any byte of the built-in RAM we should use MOVX@DPTR. Anyway, it works as well with MOVX@R0/R1 (opposite to EEPROM I think). So the question: - does MOVX @R0/R1 always access inside 0x0000...0x00FF or it uses P2 latch (or other SFR ?) as high address byte? Due my tests P2 is not used but is it documented feature? I did not find such info in datasheets... Thank you! |
