Indeed (why P0.0 and P0.1? - here it is P3.0 and P3.1 - just a joke ;)
Well, here we have connected about 30 devices to one master via RS-232 to about 70 meters without problems even on speed about 380k boud. All we use is just 7407 as output buffer. But you are rigth, for serious link it is better to use differential lines; we use CAN aswell (T89C51CC01/02) with 82c250 receiver/transmitter chip. Good days! |
