Erik,
The 2 of them, becoz the PC waits for the busy line to be clear to send the next byte, and if something goes wrong the uC wont clear it. Id tried to add en extra bit with other line, that are active for data byte and cleared for control ones, but it still freezes.
I think Im gonna falows Andy sugestion and do some echo or CRC.
