#53374 - RE: Events in Mumbai. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've watched I documentary about the Bismarck (a war vessel from Germany in WWII), and among the television crew was a survivor from it's sinking. He and a friend dropped a plate with an inscription that talked about "a time when mankind went mad". I'm starting to believe that mankind is a ravaging mad tha has some moments of sanity, that are getting more sparse.
============================== No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee. |
