#53410 - RE: Events in Mumbai. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo José,
it's hard to find right words. What happened in Bombay is terrible, cruel and completely without any sense... How can people so heavily misinterpret the Koran, the holy book of muslims? I hope all of our indish friends, whether hindu or muslim or christ are fine. They shall know, that the whole world is looking on Bombay and are suffering with the people there. José, as a German I feel pain and shame almost every day, for what my grandfathers have done. It seems to me unreal and bizarre, what they did, but nevertheless it's terrible true. It's wrong to think, a sinlgle person is without power and cannot change anything. Think about how much a single person can influence you, a good friend, the partner, family... If a few more people in Germany in 1933 would have said 'NO', the world would have seen happier days. I agree with you, that mankind has a tendency to go mad from time to time. But it's my strong believe, that finally there will always be love and peace. Love is so much stronger than terror. That's the reason, why terrorists will never succeed with their doing. It's interesting to note, that there's no religion on earth, which is aggressive and propagates violation. Just the opposite! All relevant religions propagate tolerance, peace, harmony or with one word 'love'. So, the good in mankind dominates and will dominate in future. Think of people like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and many others. Each one of us must fight for tolerance, freedom and peace, every day. It's not obvious, but must be achieved by hard work. Don't reply with terror, but reach the hand, even if this means the hard way... Make LOVE not war. |
