i got a problem. My air con remote spoilt and i can't find replacement. i wanna build the remote myself..

is it possible to do it using 8051 (radio control)

how do i know wat freq the air con is using?

questions i wanna ask is:

how to determine the different RF for different function . eg fan off/on, temp setting etc

how do i send it to out using different port. one transmitter for all??

i do know how to do it for infrared but not radio Freq.

anyone can help...
