#54389 - RE: can 8051 drive a custom TN LCD directly? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I think someone started a thread about it here not so long ago? Have you tried a search? (unfortunately, the results will be polluted by all the lazy questioners who hadn't bothered to look at the wealth of stuff already available for controller-based LCDs).
There was an article in Elektor in the UK recently about driving "bare" LCDs directly. I'm not sure if the published Triscend stuff covers "bare" LCDs, or just controller-based ones; take a look: http://www.triscend.com/solutions/graphiclcd.htm I know that Triscend have done this for (a) customer(s) - so if you speak to their applications people, they might be able to help? |
