Hi Bill,
I worked on it with great success. My code example can be seen at: http://www.specs.de/users/dan.../index.htm On short lines (<5m) I use only a single pull up resistor of 2.2kohms. On longer lines (>10m) I detected problems, which are solved with a series resistor of 50 Ohms on the 8051 to make the 1-0 transition softer. Peter |
