We have also started migrating some older designs from AT89C52 to 89C51RD2. I recently had an OEM customer ask if we should start stock-piling the AT89C52, since Atmel now lists it as "Not Recommended for New Designs." I was able to assure them that there are 1 or 2 compatible devices available :-) |
