Ok we started with simple scaling down and now into a full fledged discussion on ADCs. Would this be a "Diverted Topic " like Off Topic ? Maybe.

As someone else said I just have a simple degree in Engineering - so I guess 12 bit ADC is out for me. Sob..

Anyway I plan to overcome this problem by using the Cygnal kit PCB as it is and use the Euro connector expansion to connect to my other hardware - which incidentally is also a double sided one with plenty of ground plane covering all the empty real estate.

This way I can use the expertise of Cygnal in the critical PCB layout around the MCU.

Can I now HOPE to get anywhere near 12 Bits ? - for this I plan to read a band gap refernce source in all the 8 channels and see how they compare in the REAL FINAL set up. Must be OK for validation ?
