Hi Shankar,
to generate a high precise 1 second clock in software, please look at: http://www.specs.de/~danni/ap...mebase.htm Then you can count seconds, minutes, hours etc. The DCF77 receiver was only used, to synchronice this software RTC. It need about 2 minutes after power on to receive a valid time information. Anytime, if a valid time information was detect,the values of the software RTC are updated with it.
