#54790 - RE: presetable binary counter Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo David,
trying to give help in spite of the poor information you gave, I think the answer is 'no'. At least with a normal microcontroller. '10 meter ham', does this mean something with carrier frequency of f = c / lambda = 3 x 10 **8 / 10 sec = 30MHz? Then, standard PLL will have to divide this frequency by some factor. If this dividing procedure shall be done by microcontroller, you get a problem: 30MHz is much too high for standard microcontroller like 80C52. But you could feed those 74193 presetable counters, used for this dividing, by the help of a microcontroller while simultaneously displaying actual frequency. Kai |
