just original post was about software compability. As about hardware then well, there are some more notes. Lets remember, - 55WD works upto 33Mhz; - it cannot be programmed with 5V-only (C52 has xxxx-5 revision chip for 5V-only parallel programming); - different programming timings/sequences; - something more cannot remember now...
