Thank you very much for a very positive response;shall come back to you after trying.
Let it be known to everybody specially Andy that they(professionals) do delve in related areas in the name of vertical and/or horizontal integration at least to know when they are taken for a ride.
And for Raghu:I have no doubt about LED backlight which can tested by a miltimeter for a diode as usual
but the ones called EL will show open circuit;I connected an isolated AC of mains just enough for a standard neon and the EL glew.
