You are in the wrong forum.

There are numerous forums on basic electronics on the net. Just type " forums on electronics" into the Google search bar - I did and got some 5,160,000 links. OK you may fine tune the phrase further to shorten the list.

( And as a suggestion dont declare that "I am a Newbie". Most times after you have asked the question, it will be stating the obvious ;-) )
