The "green board stuff" is most commonly FR-4 (which stands for Fire Resistant 4). There are, however, many more PWB substrates than can be listed here. If you're interested in learning more about PWBs, check out the IPC Designers Council web site (http://dc.ipc.org/).
Now, while the others were probably a bit, shall we say blunt, in their comments, they were nonetheless correct. This web site is not intended to help people learn electronics. It is intended as a means by which professionals and serious hobbyists can interact and exchange ideas and information. You really will want to find another forum more suited to your needs.
