Dan -- Thanks, that's pretty much what I was looking for, but I'd overlooked it. The 'C' code is useless though -- my luck with 8051 'C' compilers has been dismal at best.

As for a search on this site, looking for "look up table" returns page upon page upon page of stuff from the forums, all saying "I'd use a look up table" or "you could use a look up table, it'd be faster" or stuff like that, and not actually HOW to implement them. It would appear that the useful stuff is so buried that its not really useful anymore.

Thanks though for the links. Coming up with data for the table won't be my problem, I was just trying to figure out how to implement it.
