I think the point that the other member were making is that the timekeeping system must work very reliably because it is the basis for the payroll. And most employees tend to take a rather dim view of getting paid less than what they worked for and companies do not like to pay for hours that have not been 'made'. I do agree that using a Smartcard for this kind of application is overkill. A (secure) memory card will do just fine. Regards, Rob Klein. |
