#58199 - P89LPC932 in low power mode |
I'm really having a difficult time getting this P89LPC932 using below 1mA. The datasheet states in total power down mode, one can achieve about 5uA or so. Right now, I'm burning about 3mA. Let me explain my setup:
The chip is supplied with 3.3v source decoupled with a small capacitor. I'm using the internal 7.373Mhz RC clock. I have disabled all config bits (watchdog, etc). I have disabled all peripherals via the PCON registers. I have NO outputs. All ports are configured as "input only" and tied to +3.3v. I then enter "Total Power-Down" mode. What could I be doing wrong? Should I not be using the "input only" configuration? Or maybe something else? Thanks Very Much Don |
