#58359 - RE: Problem with writing on LCD Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Here again we have a case of someone not reading the F****** datasheet. I think most of us have learnt the hard way with driving lcd displays and there is heaps of sample code etc on the web. We all know that connecting a lcd display direct to the bus has timing problems for cpu speeds above about 7mhz. I would suggest Muhammad get the data sheet for the lcd and an oscilloscope and measure things like setup and hold times and minimum widths. This will answer his hardware problems. Whilst having data sheet in hand, read carefully the timing for the various commands and this should see the software problems cured. Problem solved. |
