#58558 - Philips 8051 new derivatives ... |
Hi people,
For an automotive project with huge quantities, I had to choose a microcontroller. So I've started an assessment and four manufacturers were listed : - Motorola HC08 - Atmel AVR - Philips LPC900 - Microchip PIC12/16 I've called each manufacturers and they came to my compagny to make a presentation of their products to me. As I'm playing with 89c668 derivative for hobbying, I was interrested by the 8051. Unfortunately, Philips hasn't any chip with Flash and 10 bits ADC in a same package. The guy from Philips has recognized they were a bit late on ADC designing but they are starting to study it. So we could expect some chips with 10 bits ADC during the next months... It will be part of the LPC900 familly. Unfortunately, because of this, I had to choose an other manufacturer. Regards Stephane |
