I have a hardware circuit that detects when a signal is being received from the radio and converts it to a logic level. When the level goes low then I start the timing circuit that times the bits coming into P2.1. Each bit is approx 3.33 ms at 300 baud. I have to use this type of routine due to the fact that the data does not have a start and stop bit. Thank you very much for the mod I will give that a try and let you know how it works out. In your opinon does the timing routine look like it should work?
