#59063 - Blindingly obvious!?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
NOBODY should EVEN ATTEMPT to do ANYTHING to a '51 without having read (at least to the extend of knowing what's there) the "bible" chapters 1, 2 and 3.

In fact, NOBODY should EVEN ATTEMPT to do ANY ASSEMBLER on ANY PROCESSOR without first reading the Instruction Set Manual.

And if this is not immediately & blantantly obvious to someone, it must cast serious doubt about whether that person should even be thinking about writing assembler!

After all, the whole point of assembler is that there is a 1:1 correspondence between assembler mnemonics and machine instructions - so if you didn't even think of reading the instruction set manaul, what hope do you have!?
