The 'usual' reason for wanting a fast start is a missing inverter. Case in point: If I drive the enable for my LEDs with a buffer I get a quick flash at power up due to the fact that the port pin is high during reset and running the startup code. Using an inverter instead makes the time to start of no concern.
The same as a bovbe apply to driving relays etc. Erik |
