Have you looked into the possibility of getting the ISD chip to generate the beep for you? I only had a very quick glance through one ISD datasheet, but it looked like you should be able to feed a signal into the ISD chip and have it come out at the speaker, with the ISD mixing it with the speech or selecting between the two? |
