Note also that the P89C664 has 32K of FLASH on board so the statement you made... The entire program address space is taken with the internal Flash, so even if we have a bad jump or call in the firmware, we should stay within the internal Flash and not go to external program memory. ...may be incorrect in your situation. If your program was trying to access CODE space above 32K the cycles may be going to the external space by default because there is no FLASH on-board at this place. Michael Karas |
