#6012 - RE: Nice info using AT8953 |
OK Steve.
I have one more problems.! Now I lerned to setup this MAX3100, and I can see that the interrupt-output from uart, as far as i send an RS232-word into the MAX-Circuit (RxD). But I have'nt figured out yet how to read the SPI bus. I have tryed a several of routines in the interrupt-sequence, and even put it into SBUF, to see at my terminal if there is something. The only thing i can see, that the interrupt output (uart) drop down, but never return to set, and thats means, that I never empty the Fifo in spi-uart. Miso/Mosi are quite ded on the logic-analyzer in read sequens. What I do when I try to read the uart, is to dump SPDR into ram, and after that, move ram into SBUF. Actually, it's an GPS (trimble-card) connected into the max-uart, sending coordinates (a stream-9600bps) once per second, and when I finished with this application, i will transmitt this stream out to a Radio- transceiver (450MHz). Also on this motherboard, possibilities to act with an ordinary RS232, or eight I/O-s to collect or set external info. If you are curious aboute the MAX3100, see below, can be a nice alternative if you need multiple uart's. http://dbserv.maxim-ic.com/quick_vie...f_num=1731 |
