In the institute, there may be someone who knows what I need, they can easliy be give me the chip part number. However, as I will graduate next year, I want to try my best to finish any part in the FYP including choosing/buying chips, so I seek help from yours.

My situation is just like George Pallis.

The distributors will nelgect any student request, they just sell their product in thousand. One month before, I cannot get the Cypress( and also FTDI) USB chips until I met a friend who know the distributor sales.

I found that the cypress do not have reference device that include ( or show me it include) a external ram.

Then, my question now is:

Can I use the Ram Module that the computer Ram uses?
