#6052 - 8051 Intel Current Use |
I'm measuring that my 8051 board is using about 880mA @ 5V. My board consists of: Intel 8051AH, Atmel 2864, 100K pullups for port 0, 11.0592 Crystal and Maxim 1232 Watchdog/Reset.
None of the port pins (1,3) are shorted together and they aren't connected to anything for my load test (1,3). This 4.4 Watt power use seems a little high to me. Is this normal power use? TIA, John M. Borchers |
