Another option would be to replace the Rx2 with a dual UART device and use RS-485. As these 3 micros are all on the same board, RS485 shouldn't be necessary? If you can change to a 2-UART derivative, then the Multiprocessor Mode (Mode 3) - as the name suggests - would be ideal! To share the RTC, just connect it to the Master: * When the others want to know the time, they just ask the master; * Or, the master could broadcast periodic "timecheck" messages. * Or, the master could include the time in every message. just depends on what fits your requirements best! |
