#60789 - RE: Cart before horse Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Andy, You're thinking like an engineer!!! Joe Average wants to get something happening NOW! Whereas the more seasoned of us will work methodically through the problem. My suggestion was to give the person a lead that may help them to get some results without too much pain and along their journey they will find out the realities of what they've undertaken. We could scare him off by going through all the various considerations that we make before coming to a solution
and the net result is the person crying 'TOO HARD!' and giving up. All learning is good learning! Opinions vary! |
