Interesting view point. Initially I thought that Andy had sort of put the thing in perspective - which incidentally is my viewpoint even now. But your argument of scaring the individual with too much of technical jargon, thus dissuading him from attempting is equally valid.
James had just given a broad guideline of what he wants to do - and if that is all the information he has, then most probably this project is not going to see the daylight. So it would be better if James can revert with the following inputs : 1. The range of the input voltage that needs to be digitized. 2. The required accuracy levels AFTER digitization. 3. The acceptable level of sampling rate for meanigful readings. At least if we know the above, then we can comment on the feasibility of his project with the SPECIFIED MCU. Raghu |
