Re Jay's way of saying things : people new to the forum should receive a note explaining that Jay is our "vieux" (or hombre viejo if you prefer), & that we enjoy reading his stuff.
If I learn something during a day's work, it was worth getting out of bed; same thing if I can make a colleague laugh about a technical matter!

PS Why doesn't that data logger have a GSM modem & just blast stuff out into space once in a while?
