#61623 - RE: Latch related noise problems Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Bart,
Is the adderss 44BDH in the RAM area? When starting up the monitor writes to XDATA and reads from CODE in order to verify that there is von Neumann wired RAM. If the address flagged is outside the RAM area this would cause the error. Using a homemade target with a demo version of the Keil tools you may need to fiddle a bit to get things to work. (Some time ago I made an 8032 system on veroboard with HCT logic chips. I use a 4k demo of the Keil tools which came from a Cypress development kit. When I start debugging I get the error: NO CODE MEMORY AT ADDRESS 0001H. I ignore this because I know the RAM starts at 8000H. Some simple debug facilities work but in order to run the program I have to manually fill in the start-up vector at the beginning of the RAM.) Hope this helps Paul |
