Nothing must be tried out in a water level controller UNLESS you have a solid AC sensing mechanism in place. Don't be worried by "AC" if you're assuming that it means a nice, clean sinewave at a nice, constant frequency. You just need to ensure that the polarity is reversed sufficiently often to prevent the adverse effects of electrolysis. |
