Did you read the posts in this thread Paul?
If your 3200 holes are in one of these.... ![]() ...then you are going to run into problems. The reasons were stated by several of the other responders above. I can tell you that I have four or five of those plug board type things that I used to use for simple low level analog and CD4000 series logic circuits. When the world moved up to modern day type CMOS logic chips, CPLDs and microcontrollers I put the plug boards away in a box someplace. Once again for the reasons that have been presented above. Take a look at what you invest for something that is not suitable for reliable prototyping .... and compare that to the price of one of these eval boards -- for $99 USD ... plus a good soldering iron and you should be good to go!!
