No need to buy any book as of now !( Incidentally that book by Mazidi IS a good one - not that I am against it )

Look to the left of this message - you will find the buttons "Tutorials" and "8052 FAQ " and then in the links look for the "Bible" . Spend as much time as you can on these, try to come to grips with the register structure, port details, clock details, machine cycles, interrupts and the instruction set. Understand the basic 8052 architecture as best as you can.

Writing code can wait till you master the above - and the beauty is - all that is free from this site. All that you need is good time to spare and that fire-in-the-belly to master this amazing technology.
