Andy - the above post was in no way provided as an example of a precision delay. It clearly is not. For the HD44780 it will be much easier for Tim to create a "rough" delay in C (using the simulator to check the actual duration) rather that create a fine tuned assembly routine called through C. May I also personally thank you for highlighting my lack of attention to detail and generally poor English. My shame could not be greater . I will make no more posts until my mistress has beaten me severely. |
