#62689 - RE: Differential lock controller- Erik Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"Automotive manufacturers specify their controllers to operate at 105C "
At times I wonder if these automotive R&D guys are confirmed sadists ;-) Atleast that is the impression that I have been getting while designing validation test rigs for thier power steering pumps. Three years back they wanted 80 deg C and then for a recent rig to test a pump that goes on an Indian variant of General Motors vehicle, they want 150 deg C on the hydraulics. The battle is on to find hydraulic components for such temperatures. ( Good they let me do what I want on the MCU based controller!! ) Raghu |
