look at the maxim website for MAX3100 and max 3110 . Both UART to SPI.. much easier to program and no need for fast timing. Watch out on hiher baudrates... the controller does not go into high baudrate if using a timer for bitstuffing.
The SPI is very easy to setup and can be connected to the INT0 line for fast receive response and buffering. have fun, but avoid problems by design. |
