I discontinued my AVR research, since the reliability was to bad.
A nice example to remove bugs was the ATtiny22.
Atmel have simple removed the data sheet from the web.
So it seems, they have also removed this device from manufacturing.
This is the easiest way to remove a bug, but not, what the customer expected. But it gives a good impression about the manufacturers opinion about reliability.
Fortunately it seems, that the Atmels AVR and 8051 departments are complete separate and different. Since I found never problems on Atmels 8051 during many years.
