The Triscend "Configurable System On A Chip" model, with their easy FastChip drag-and-drop tool is an easy introduction to a "single-chip" solution, so ARM can easily coax customers on to a full-custom VLSI solution with a deeply-embedded ARM core. But of course that only really applies to the A7 - doesn't seem to help the E5 much. Perhaps I'll see if they need someone to do a study on migrating an E5 project to A7... |
