The circuit that I am using is as follows.
The switch is a spdt going into port 2^2,the other end is connected to a 10k resistor going to 5volts.
Diode:
The 1k resistor is connected to 5 volts and other end is going into the positive side of the diode which is connected to the collector of the npn.The base of the npn is connected to a 2k2 resistor and the other side of the resistor is going into port 2^0.The emitter is going to gnd.
Buzzer:
For the buzzer, the circuit I have is ,one end is going to 5 volts and the other is going into a pot(100k).The middle leg of the pot is connected to a power transistor 8425 (pin2) and the base of a transistor npn.The collector of the npn transistor is connected to a 15k resistor going into port 2^4.The emitter of the npn is going into pin 1 of the 8425.pin 3 of the 8425 is connected to gnd.
I know it would seem alot clearer if you saw a schematic of this instead of writing it down.
I know that there is something wrong with my software.I have spend weeks at this and don't know what else to try.Can anyone at all help me as it is driving me mad.I would appreciate it so much.
