Can the Reset generator be another source of problems because it is generating false reset pulses from the noise from the motor?
I replied: Absolutely if not properly decoupled The reply should have been NO, it can not be another source of problems, but it can be the device that detect them. If the supervisor is not properly decoupled, the supervisor is not "the cause", the missing decopuling is. If there is enough power supply spikes to make the properly decoupled supervisor generate a reset, the supervisor is not the cause, the power line noise is. Erik |
